ASV Spanish Invasion June 2007

Hola! Greetings from Spain/ES! We (KC + UK of ASV) have been on a
whirlwind tour. Currently sitting on the balcony of our CAMP ASV IBIZA
(see first pic). Today's been a day of R&R .. arrived to the island
yesterday after attacking the Sonar Festival and the city of
Barcelona/BCN (second pic: smiley face was the ironic iconic symbol of
Sonar this year). I'll be sure to add more pix of our adventure(s) as
well as post UK's Sonar documentary film when completed. We've been
reviewing many tracks today by artists made new to us at Sonar, as
well as checking all the YouTube vid madness. Minimal was full-on at
this year's festival .. Narod Niki at Sonar by Nite (led by captain
Ricardo 'Ricky' Villalobos and first mate Richie Hawtin, plus 6 other
laptop tinka mates) were amazing .. Richie solo the next Sonar by
Nite nite was fantastic .. Ellen Allien and Apparat, solo and
together, plus Sasche Funke, at Ellen's BPitch Records Party at Club
Nitsa at the Apollo was super fun, growing wonkers on the dance floor
as the nite rolled on .. and finally, Magda at Richie's Minus Records
Party at Zen Club at City Hall .. she 'hands-down-up-no-hands'
destroyed the dance floor. And my last nite included a special
surprise treat, yes, DISCO, all Euro in fact, curated by DJ Disco
Fantasy of Holland. We're heading to Pacha Ibiza tonite for UK's Ibiza
retirement party, with the classic Eric Morillo spinning a 7 hour set
as part of Subliminal Sessions opening nite. Spain - Gracias - ASV
